Tasmainian yellow gum. Grow as tree or pruned shrub. Colourful exposed bark. Round, shiney bright green juvenile leaves. Red stems and red leaf buds in spring. Copices well. Good for flower arranging. Plant in full sun in moderately fertile acid - neutral soil. Keep plant moist. Stake in 1st year if exposed. Pests and diseases - generally trouble free. Hardy.
